Hey there it's Melzie!

I've been in the hair game 10 years. There's still so much to learn, so I soak it up like a sponge. In my time behind the chair, I've learned that I love all things short. I love hair care and color theory, and the science behind it. My "mad scientist" comes out when I'm able to formulate, which is why I stick to single color processes.

I also really embrace change and get so excited when my guests want a Big Transformation. I enjoy making people smile, and help them discover what makes them feel amazing.

A Cali native, I grew up with a big family near Yosemite, so I was never afraid to climb trees and scrape up my knees. I have taught my 3 kiddos the way of 80's movies & music, and raised them on the Goonies & Rocky(my hero). A Star Wars, Lego & 007 nerd, I have found a kindred spirit in my Husband of 25 years. I definitely prefer movies to books ( sorry book lovers). So take a seat and let's talk Movies & Hair!
